We provide a systematic approach to
the prevention of alcohol, tobacco and
other drug abuse through promoting
personal growth and self-reliance for
individuals, families and communities
by coordinating services and providing
training and resources .
 

  
     

We work to ...

    • Increase the incidence of abstinence from alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
    • Defer the onset of use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
    • Decrease high-risk use of alcohol by adults and eliminate use by minors.
    • Eliminate use of illicit drugs.

  • Wellness Partnership
           Increase the incidence of abstinence from alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

  • Project Alert 
           Alcohol, tobacco and other drug class for middle school students and teachers
           in Licking County.   

  • Tobacco Prevention
            
    LifeSkills Training Program to middle school students throughout Licking County
           providing health information, general life skills and drug resistance skills.

  • Kid Power Plus
           Working with preschoolers and teachers on prevention of alcohol, tobacco and 
           other drug abuse and violence through asset and resiliency development.

  • Youth to Youth Outreach
           Providing year round alternative activities, peer leadership, and support for the
           choice to be drug free.
  • Youth to Youth Conferences
           Building developmental assets and supporting the decision to be drug free.

                                      

        Building skills for personal self-growth and reliance

      • Custom-designed trainings to meet audience needs and schedule.

      • Our audience includes youth, parents, teachers, child care providers, management and staff, youth workers, and others.

      • Our topics include crisis intervention, conflict resolution, stress management, decision-making, violence prevention, board and staff development, assertiveness, communication, team-building, anger control, self-esteem, and more.
